Association
The Mountain States Highland Cattle Association is a regional Association for the American Highland Cattle Assocaiton (ACHA). Serving 11 western states, it is our mission to bring education on the breed, and connect others with local ranchers.
Juniors
MSHCA has an extensive Juniors program led by Jaimie Silva.
MSHCA Juniors are often leaders in the arena, and out in the community as well. You can find more information about our Juniors program HERE.
Beef
Highland beef is considered a premuim, lean beef. It's slow grown, allowing a beaifutful Marbled, and low cholestrol meat.
Shows
We are fortunate enough to have two shows in our region. The National Western Stock Show takes place in Denver, CO every January. Our Regional Show will be July 30, 2022 at the Elbert County Fairgrounds- in Kiowa, CO.
